The Scorpions Baseball Club has joined the New England Elite Baseball League for the 2012 season. This new and exciting league will be comprised of the most talented teams in New England. The league’s mission is to create a competitive league with a strong focus on structure and organization. The Scorpions Baseball Club is very excited to join the NEEBL in its inaugural season.

The Scorpions Baseball Club is still looking for qualified players for the 2012 season.

Draft News

 

Former Scorpion player Andrew Chin was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 5th round of the 2011 MLB Draft. Chin, a left handed pitcher, attended Buckingham Browne & Nichols School in 2011. Chin played for the Scorpions in 2006 and 2007. He was the 169th overall selection.

 

John Leathersich, brother of Scorpion player Ted Leathersich, was selected by the New York Mets in the fifth round of the 2011 MLB Draft. Leathersich, a left handed pitcher, played for UMass Lowell in 2011. He was the 162nd overall selection.

The Scorpions Baseball Club is an elite league and travel tournament baseball program. The Scorpions play a regular season league schedule at the 11U, 13U, 14U, 15U and 16U levels. Our teams also participate in various New England, northeastern and national tournaments.

 

The Scorpions Baseball Club is a comprehensive player development program with emphasis on high school varsity and college baseball preparation. In addition to a robust playing and practice schedule, we provide an extensive off-season training and conditioning program.
